Getting started

What is Duxor?

Duxor is live construction operations software for general contractors. It connects projects, people, schedules, communication, vehicles, equipment, customers, and financials so teams can see what is happening and act from the same operating record.

Who is Duxor for?

Residential and small-to-midsize commercial general contractors, and the crews, subcontractors, vendors, and customers who work with them.

Do we have to replace all our current tools at once?

No. Most companies start with the live operating core, projects, schedule, communication, and field presence, and retire other tools as they grow into Duxor. You move at your own pace.

Will you import our existing data?

Yes. We help load your people, customers, projects, jobsites, schedules, and representative financial data so you are not starting from an empty screen.

How long does setup take?

Setup is guided, not a manual you read alone. We bring in your real people, projects, and active work so you can start running jobs quickly, then deepen from there.

What devices does it run on?

A web application for the office and a dedicated mobile field app for the crew. The field app is built for real jobsite conditions, with adjustable text size, large touch targets, voice, and offline capture.

Does it work without a signal?

Yes. The field app captures photos, logs, and updates offline and syncs when the connection returns.

Can I see it with my own workflow before committing?

Yes. Bring one real project to a tailored walkthrough and we will show how Duxor would run a day at your company. This is a guided product walkthrough, not a self-serve trial.

Duxor Link (for trades and subcontractors)

What is Duxor Link?

Link is the Duxor workspace for a trade company: a subcontractor, specialty trade, vendor, or small field team. It gives that company one view across all the general contractors and projects it works on, plus the tools to coordinate its own crew.

If a GC invites me to their project, do I have to buy Link?

No. When a general contractor invites your company into a project, you take part for free inside that GC's workspace: schedule, assignments, communication, documents, photos, tasks, and updates for that job. There is nothing to buy and nothing to install.

Then what does Link actually add?

Link is for when you work with several GCs, or want your own operating view. Instead of logging into each general contractor's Duxor separately, Link gives your trade company one place to see every assignment, schedule, and conversation across all of them, and to run your own crew.

What is included with Link?

One company view across shared Duxor projects, schedules and assignments, project and crew and direct communication, plans and documents and photos and field updates, tasks and punch items and checklists, crew availability, mobile access, basic voice capture, and shared activity history. It is $199 per company per month.

Is Link priced per user?

No. Link is priced per company, so you can bring your whole field team in without a seat tax.

Who owns the data, the GC or the trade company?

The general contractor owns their project workspace and controls what each participant can see. Your Link workspace is yours. Shared information flows between them by permission.

Can the general contractor see where my crew is?

On the jobs you work together, your crew can share arrival, ETA, and on-site check-in with the GC, so the GC knows who is coming and whether anyone is running late. It is tied to the scheduled jobsite and controlled by your company, not all-day location tracking. Your crew checks in by geofence or a tap, and you decide what is shared.

Is Link ever required to work with a GC on Duxor?

No. Link is always optional. Participating in a GC's project is free. Link is a convenience for trade companies that want their own cross-project view.

Can homeowners or customers use it too?

Customers take part through the customer view of the GC's project, schedule, progress, photos, selections, approvals, change orders, and messages, at no cost to them.

Live operations and presence

What is the Live Operations Center?

One live view of the whole company: active projects, who is scheduled, who is on site, who is en route, who is expected late, vehicles and equipment in use, deliveries, and the items that need attention right now.

How do presence and ETA work?

Duxor combines the schedule, route, travel time, traffic, geofence proximity, and clock status to project whether someone will arrive on time, and it raises an exception before a start is missed, not after.

Is this employee surveillance?

No. Presence is tied to scheduled work under clear company policy and employee permissions. It is work-hour awareness for assigned jobs, with manual fallback and visible controls, not constant tracking.

What happens if there is no signal or a phone dies?

Duxor shows the confidence of each status and provides manual arrival and departure confirmation, so a missing location does not break the record.

What presence states are there?

Scheduled, en route, on time, expected late, on site, no-show risk, wrong site, left site, and location unavailable.

Does it manage vehicles and equipment too?

Yes. Vehicles, trailers, equipment, and tools appear in the same schedule and live view as people and jobs, so resource conflicts are visible before work is delayed.

Communication

How is this different from texting and email?

Every message belongs to the work it affects: a task, schedule item, estimate line, change order, drawing, photo, or person. Nothing is lost in unrelated threads, and everything stays on the project record.

Do subcontractors and customers have to install an app?

No. People who do not use the app take part by SMS and email, and their replies route back into the correct project conversation.

Can a message become an action?

Yes. Any message can become a task, appointment, assignment, issue, RFI, change request, approval, or schedule action, while keeping the original conversation.

What kinds of channels are there?

Direct, group, company, project, crew, customer, subcontractor, and vendor channels.

Is there a record of who saw and agreed to what?

Yes. Read status, acknowledgements, mentions, priority, and history are preserved so decisions are accountable.

What languages does Duxor support?

Duxor speaks your crew's language. Messages are delivered in each person's preferred language, including English, Spanish, Polish, Ukrainian, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, and Korean, with the original text preserved, so the office writes once and everyone reads it their way. The field app itself runs in the crew member's language too. No separate threads, no human translator in the middle. Automatic translation is already running in the product today; every translated message is labeled with its source language, and the translating model is recorded for audit.

Voice and AI

What can I do by voice?

Create appointments, tasks, messages, assignments, and notes, ask where someone is, ask what needs your attention, move an inspection, and build a daily report, all without navigating through forms.

Does the AI take actions on its own?

Only when you have authorized that kind of routine, low-risk action, such as sending a schedule-change notice from an approved template. Every action is logged. Reversible internal changes can be undone; an external email or text cannot be recalled after it is sent. Financial, contractual, destructive, and other high-impact actions require review and confirmation.

How accurate is it?

Voice resolves people, projects, dates, and roles from your company context. When it is uncertain, it says so and asks, rather than guessing silently.

Is my data used to train outside models?

No. Duxor processes your data to provide and improve your own workspace under your agreement and privacy terms; it is not sold or used to train general-purpose models for other customers.

Does every AI action leave a record?

Yes. Each action preserves the source command or conversation, the person, the time, the inputs, any confirmation, and the resulting changes in the audit history.

Field and mobile

My crew struggles with small text. Can they make it bigger?

Yes. Text size is adjustable right from the top of every screen, with a high-contrast display, so the app stays readable in bright sun, at arm's length, and for every set of eyes on the crew.

Can they use it with gloves on?

Yes. Touch targets are large and the most common actions are one tap or a voice command.

What can the field team do from the app?

See today's work and the next job, mark on-my-way and arrived, run checklists and forms, capture photos and daily logs, and talk to Duxor by voice.

Does the field app work offline?

Yes. It captures work offline and syncs automatically when the connection returns.

Financials and accounting

Does Duxor replace QuickBooks?

No. Duxor manages operational financial workflows and job profitability, then integrates with accounting. It is not a full general ledger.

What financial work does it cover?

Leads, estimates, proposals, budgets, cost codes, committed costs, change orders, purchase orders, progress invoices, payments, and estimate-versus-actual profitability.

Can I see whether a job is making money?

Yes. Duxor connects estimates, committed costs, actual costs, and billing so you can see projected cost at completion and gross profit while the job is running.

Where do the numbers come from?

From the same field conversations, schedule events, time, deliveries, and approved changes that created the cost, so the financial picture reflects the actual job.

Pricing and plans

How is pricing decided?

By operating scale, not by counting logins. Plan fit is based on company size, active work, operating complexity, integrations, and service needs, and it is finalized during onboarding.

Do you charge per user?

No. There is no seat tax on communication. Invite the whole company, the field, the customer, and every subcontractor and vendor who affects the work.

What are the plans?

Link at $199 per month for trade companies, and S, M, L, XL, and Enterprise for general contractors. See the pricing page for details.

Which plan is right for me?

S fits a small GC, M fits a growing established GC, L and XL fit larger multi-crew operations, and Enterprise fits multi-branch and advanced needs. The right fit is confirmed during onboarding based on your operation, not enforced by login counts.

Is there a discount for paying annually?

Yes. Annual billing includes two months.

Are there long-term contracts?

Plans are billed month to month unless you choose annual billing.

Security, data, and integrations

Where is our data and who owns it?

Your data is yours. Hosting region and subprocessors are documented during onboarding, and you control access by role, project, object, and audience.

Can we export our data?

Yes. Duxor provides export, retention, and managed deletion controls aligned with your settings and agreement.

How are permissions handled?

Role, project, object, audience, and module permissions with least-privilege defaults, so people see only what their work requires.

Is location data private?

Presence is tied to scheduled work with explicit company policy, visible permissions, active windows, device state, and clear manual fallback.

Do you have security certifications?

Duxor does not currently claim a third-party security certification. Security and privacy are built into the operating model, and we walk prospective enterprise teams through the controls, architecture, and available evidence in detail.

What does it integrate with?

Duxor connects with QuickBooks and accounting workflows, calendars, email, SMS, maps, traffic and routing, geofences, and existing jobsite cameras. L, XL, and Enterprise packages add APIs, webhooks, data feeds, custom integrations, and supported SSO according to plan.
